Here you will see the love and dedication for all veterans, displayed in each of the following creations. One of my passions is decorating and I enjoy making things pretty. This is what I refer to as...fu fu.

This is my way of honoring all military, past and present.  It is with great pride that I have  compiled these pictures to share with them and with you..

Meet My Family

Dave, Bev, David, Chad, Tiffany, Melissa and Jacob.  Chad and Melissa are Jacob's parents.

I am a combat wife to a Vietnam Vet.  We were married in 1969 soon after Dave  return to the states.  We met in high School a couple of years before he left for Vietnam.

We have three children and one Grandchild.  I'm proud to say I've always been a very Patriotic person even before 9-11.   I started an email list for Veterans in hopes of lending support for them and their families.  Like many people, I found the event's of September 11th very hard to deal with.  Feelings of anger, helplessness, confusion and concern, for our fighting men and women,  overwhelmed me.

If any good came out of 9-11 it's the fact it brought attention to our Military.  A Military that has been taken for GRANTED way to long by the American people!  We also have our Vets who continue to suffer physically, and mentally, from effects of the war.

The displays I create for the public is my way of honoring our Military, past and present.  Even though it is a small gesture on my part it is my own way of paying homage to them.  We can all do our own little "thing" to show our support for our Military, you can proudly display the American flag, tie a yellow ribbon around a tree, or simply place a patriotic magnet on you car.  Any little thing like that, done together, makes a clear statement to our enemy's that Americans will always stand together.  And if by chance one of my displays makes ONE person pause, and think of our Military, then I have done my job. It is my way to make sure the mistakes we've made in history are not ever repeated again!  Regardless of where we stand with our personal, or political preferences and views, or how we feel about war, we must continue to support our troops, allies and families for the many sacrifices they are making..

This is one of many displays I've created and assembled in honor and  recognition of the brave souls both military and civilian that lost their lives during troubled times....

Code of Support

I - I am an American.  I know that the men and women in our Armed Forces are prepared to give their lives to defend my country, my way of life and the blessings of liberty throughout the world.  I am committed to their perpetual recognition, appreciation and support.

II - As they have sworn to defend me and protect our country, so will I pledge to support them in every way that I can, and to avoid any action that would increase their risk. I will further do my part to ensure that they are never sent into harm’s way without all of the necessary resources to protect them and to fulfill their mission.

III - If they become prisoners of war, are missing in action, are wounded, or lose their lives, I will keep faith with them and their loved ones. I will not rest until we find them, heal them, and return them to their comrades, their loved ones and their nation.

IV- For our military veterans, I pledge unfailing recognition and appreciation for their contributions to our national defense and our welfare. I will not forget my nations responsibility to provide for their continued well-being, and meaningful compensation for their sacrifice.

V – I understand that our service men and women do not make national policy, but are sworn to obey their civilian leadership and defend the constitution. I will respect their faithful service to the nation and always give them my unqualified support.

VI - I will never forget that our service men and women are fighting for my freedom and are dedicated to the principles which make our country free. I will share the responsibility for preserving that freedom with those who proudly wear the uniform of the United States of America .
